And it must also show how they could be.
Since most of the sci-fi writers aren't Christians, it's natural that they have a pessimistic view of world and the future of humans.
And truly even those that are real Christians have a pessimistic view, since we know how wrong the world is. But the difference is, we know how God can, does, affect the world.Kiittäkää Aina ja Kaikestahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12264486975627673705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633589858168651537.post-67261158966632875342016-02-25T05:12:54.845-08:002016-02-25T05:12:54.845-08:00This was a great review, but I think I love your c...This was a great review, but I think I love your comment here even more. What a lovely perspective for reading sci-fi. I often have a hard time with the darkness in the worlds created in sci-fi, but I can see how your perspective would really help you to grow in thankfulness for all that Christ is and does for us. Thanks so much for sharing all of this at Booknificent Thursday this week!
TinaTina at Mommynificent.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08126804458372736293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633589858168651537.post-86198430704314683002016-02-19T08:58:05.266-08:002016-02-19T08:58:05.266-08:00Thank you for your comment and visit, Pam! Although Red Rising trilogy books are positive and upbeat the world is quite depressing and horrible. People don't have much hope. I found myself thinking many times that this is because Christ died for us, He would never allow a world like this and this world would never happen with us Christians in it.Kiittäkää Aina ja Kaikestahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12264486975627673705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633589858168651537.post-83955508959446046422016-02-16T17:09:48.350-08:002016-02-16T17:09:48.350-08:00Thanks for this review.
